the lollipop garden

This is a picture of a break that Jimmy did this week for the hotel. Kai and I thought it was really cute so we wanted to share with everyone. It's a lollipop garden made up of different homemade chocolate lollipops and shots of smoothies in the background. When I got the phone picture, I showed it to Kai and he asked where his was!

I thought it would be fun if the next time he made one of these if he could do a rock trail with the candy coated chocolates that looks like rocks and also add a bug or caterpillar made up of mini cupcakes. Maybe, if I get bored enough, I'll make one with the kids just for fun!

Hmm...Valentine's day is just around the corner....that would be such a sweet treat for the kids! I might just have to do it. I was planning to make brownies, but I just baked some today. I was craving sweets. I'm in such a dessert withdrawal! Every day for every meal during our vacation we had some sort of cupcake, cake, ice cream, or pastry item!

Now that we are back home, I'm enforcing the good eating thing and only allowing a few select sweets a day. We'll see how long that lasts. Every night so far I've been asking for cake. Brownies are not the same, delish, but not cake.
