Before the kids and marriage...

I was busy. Come to think of it, I don't know how I managed to do so much. Seriously, before I met and married Jimmy, I always had two jobs. Not, that I needed to have two, but because I wanted to. I had one job to pay the bills and the other to learn a new skill or satisfy my curiosity on the subject. Everyone thought I was either nuts or unstable!

Huh? For example, I was the general manager of some family restaurant by day and working at some coffee shop roasting coffee at some odd hour. In high school I did the same thing. Oh, haven't you ever worked as a pharmacy technician and help out at your family's restaurant at the same time? I even worked at a comedy club at night while selling wine at a wine bar by day.

Along with working 70 hours a week, I was also going to school. I felt like I was never going to get a degree. If you ask my best friend, she could tell you some funny stories. Some how I did it, I got my Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management degrees.

Now what? After going through all of that, what do I do with all my experiences? I share my knowledge of food & beverages and management with who ever wants to learn (more like who ever wants to listen). Yes, now I am a stay at home mom and wife to the most fabulous pastry chef, but I am also my own person with so much information and many skills.
