Jimmy is a semifinalist for 'Outstanding Pastry Chef' for 2009!!! Eek! I'm so excited! I hope that I'm not jinxing it by telling the world! Well, he is up with some very well known pastry chefs! I'm sure the world probably already knows because I just found out today.
For those that don't know, James Beard Award is like an Oscars for a chef, restaurateur, bartender, sommolier, cook book writer, food journalist and and many others in the food world! It's exciting!
I'm crossing my fingers for him, not just because he's my wonderful hubby, but the man makes incredible desserts! He has worked so hard and I truly believe that it's his time to finally be recognised by the rest of the world as the outstanding pastry chef that he is. I love you Jimmy!
