I am beginning my 27th week of pregnancy and have been prescribed bed rest for the rest of the pregnancy. I therefore will not be in the kitchen whipping up any treats, but that won't stop me from doing research or having Jimmy and the kids whip me up something from the kitchen.
Jimmy is no longer working at the Peninsula Chicago Hotel as the Executive Pastry Chef as of yesterday. Due to many reasons, but wanting to spend more time with the family is the big one. His new job that he will start later this month will give him that.
I have stumbled upon a new cake project that I've been experimenting with and will work on turning it into a proper business. I am still in the research and development stage. I obviously will not be making any major progress until after the baby's birth, so I'm planning for next spring to have everything in place.
