Friday night = Pizza night

Friday night has officially become make your own pizza night at our house and we had another excellent one last night. I did adjust the dough recipe this week by adding half a tablespoon more sugar than listed in my recipe that I posted a few posts back, so the total sugar in the recipe should now be 1 1/2 tablespoons of sugar in the recipe. It also makes seven 6oz portions of dough. We used six to make pizzas and I used the last one to make sticky buns for breakfast this morning.

Cassia is cutting into her taco pizza. I really liked the crispy crust that this one had. All the fat from the taco meat, bacon and cheese gave the crust a rich flavor and light crispy texture.

These are pictures of my bacon cheeseburger pizza. It had black olives, yellow & green onions, mushrooms, pickles, apple smoked bacon, hamburger, cheddar and mozzarella cheese. After it came out of the oven I drizzled it with yellow mustard and chopped lettuce. Every agreed that it really tasted like a hamburger! The crust on this was nice and soft so it resemembled the hamburger bun and it was the first pizza gone!

Kai decided to make a spider design on his pizza with pepperoni, bacon and a black olive. The ingredients were well spaced out and it was loaded with cheese, we could really taste the crust and all ingredients on it.

This is one of the pizzas Jimmy made. It was loaded with so many ingredients including fresh jalapenos that made it too spicy for anyone to eat so Jimmy got it all to himself.

Little Cassia showing us her pizza sampler plate.

Sticky buns in the baking dish.

The sticky buns turned out onto a plate. I couldn't help myself I had to sample before taking the pictures.
